This walk was attempted late afternoon so i rushed up to bag it before it got dark. No path meant it should have been very boggy if it wasnt for the hard frost. Bitterly cold at the top of around -12 so i didnt hang around which was a shame as the views of Ben More were class. Gutted i didnt get to bag Adrain as well. Never mind i'll get her next week if the crazy snow stays away!

Amazing bow little snow there is - pity you didn't get manage Cruach Ardrain at the same time.
You could always work out a circuit for better weather after the winter with Ben More, Stob Binnein and Cruach Ardrain via Inverlocharig Glen........... :D

I know, there wasnt much snow but it was very cold. Hope to do Ardrain with Ben More as you suggest. Thanks.

It was a wee bit tongue in cheek as it would involve quite a steep drop down from Stob Binnein via Stob Coire an Lochain and going south of the crags to Inverlocharig Glen before rising up south of Creagan Dubha as well as probably having to come back slightly south on the Ardrain descent to go round the crags but it looks as if you could then come down over Stob Coire Buidhe; probably need to be after winter with longer daylight. Haven't done it this way myself and at the end of the day, it's entirely up to you anyway - hope you have fun. :D
