Started at Inner Bay, near Jamestown Quarry (NT 125/820). Keeping the Clyde on your right, follow the clear path all the way to Aberdour. The path is tarmac and concrete all the way, and could even be done in trainers. There's lots to see. I was lucky with the weather, the clear blue sky allowed fantastic views down the river to all 3 major bridges, and across the Clyde to Edinburgh, where I could clearly see Arthurs Mount and the castle! Even saw a large buzzard sitting on a garden fence. I have some lovely photos, but can't upload them. Nice pub at Aberdour Hotel. I'd give this 7/10, only because I'd prefer not to have tarmac underfoot.
