Jen drove down to mine from Frasurburgh then I drove from Echt. Nice and early as usual. Got to the car park just as it was getting light.

Was pretty windy but dry with high cloud.

Walked along the footpath, cutting up to the hill and then heading off the main path to climb Beinn T. It was a steep boggy climb which had me feeling it a bit but all of a sudden we were at the summit.

The wind was strong and cold and the summit was moving in and out of cold.

From hear we headed along the grassy ridge with views coming and goign in the wind until we reached Cruach Ardrain. A couple of other groups appeared from the BEalach.

We headed back unfer Cruach Ardrain and decided it was worth goign for Beinn a'Chroin which we'd had to abandon on the 2017 winter trip to Crianlarich due to really high winds.

This was a bit of a rough slog as we had to navigate down the crags and then had another steep boggy climb up to the first summit.

We caught the path at this summit which took us to the munro summit, where we had lunch and headed back tot he first summit before taking a pretty direct line off back down to the river.

Jen found a Harvey's map which had been buried under snow on this descent (hope the owner was alright) and after some bog hopping thw wind dropped and the sun came out giving us a pleasant walk back to the car along the lanny track.
