With G. First day of the trip. Slept in the car by the usual reservoir then drive up with breakfast in Girvan. For sat was for strong wind so hadn't expected to do this hill. But it seemed OK so we went for it. We wondered if we were right a few times on the way up but we made it. Splendid hill but doesn't feel very wild despite its nature due to the location. Very steep. I found it a bit unsettling - wind, rocky steps, mild exposure
