With G. Staying at the Hayloft in Caol on the edge of Fort William. Ignored the normal route as the forecast was for increasing wind (it didn't really increase to much) and went up from Fassfern. Pleasant walk up through forest by the stream - quite open and scenic. Lots of frogs! Up a track and then steep up the slope to the summit. Good views in all directions. Came down quite steeply at the far end towards Gulavin. Made it feel wilder. Back a little sore. Much cooler day though still mild for Feb, 6 degrees, and some sun.
