Very misty when I got up so used this as a reason not to do the longer walk we had planned. It cleared up to a hazy dry day
With glimpses of sun and still very mild for Feb. Our normal crack of noon start. The hill disappointed to start with steep, scrappy, boggy but then became exactly what I hoped, a ridge that was steep but not too steep, dry path with some interest. Three other guys out, two ahead of us and one slower friend. Great views into the back of the Aonach Eagach. Fine shattered
pinkish rock features
