Stage 3 was upon us. Highlights included a teensy misunderstanding about exactly which car park I’d arrived (early) in, lots of tramping along the cycle path (past the volcanic plug of Dunglass) followed by lots of tramping along the canal towpath, a visit to Barhill Fort and a wee tramp along the Antonine Wall, snowdrops, and a lovely Spring-like day that actually had us complaining about the heat once or twice! There was a wee bit of Kirkintilloch that wasnae so nice.

For the next stage, we’ll park in Croy, walk to Falkirk, then take the train back to Croy. I’ll meet you in Car Park 1. I mean 2. No, wait. Which one? Oh, hell, the same place I was the last time!
