Walked with Jen and Christine. Christine drove to Echt and we picked Jen up in Keith.

Started walking at dawn, clear but v gold in the glen. The walk up the glen was great and we could see the sun coming up behind Cona 'Mheal. As we got to the lochain we could see An Teallach looking amazing behind us so we skirted right up Beinn Dearg itself following the wall. It was pretty icy but ok. Rocky on top with amazing views all the way round.

We ate then headed back down before heading up Cona 'Mheal. From here we could just see the easterly hills.

BAck to the BEalach again before heading North up Meall Nan Ceapraichean whihc was grassy (campsite???). Views were better North from here to the assynt hills. Could also see the destitution wall clearly, Very sad.

From here it was a boggy twisty descent to the next bealach and a boggy climb up to Eididh Nan Clach Geala. From here amazing views North (also good potential camp) and great views to seana Braigh. Decided not to tackly SB and headed west before dropping steaply off the shoulderthen turning souch just before the lochain to catch the glen path back to the car park

great conditions and company
