So the day came at last for An Teallach.

I had a week off spending time with Daniel and Lynn and the weather had been immaculate.

I drove and picked up Jen at Keith. Parked at the MRT hut at Dundonnal. It was already warm and promised to be a scorcher.

We headed up the glen and were sweating buckets in the heat. No views until we turner out ot the glen and could see Bidein a'Ghlass Thuill. Then we had a quick sttep pull up to a summit with perhpas the best view in the world. WOW. conditions were perfect and no wind.

we headed quicky over to the next summit (Sgurr Fiona) and got ready for the pinnacles surrounded by the goats

These were no way near as bad as described and we managed to hold most of the top line to the bad step. we came off round the back of this and went over the two tops where clegs appeared.

It was super hot at this stage and a long walk out off the nose of the shoulder and then back to and along the road. Luckily we passed some good streams to fill up from and had drinks ready in the car.

Amazing day
