This was quite a challenge! The climb is Very steep so we had to stop several times on the ascent, which gave us the added bonus of taking in the fantastic views. The parking lay by only holds 2 cars. From there, walk towards the 'private road' sign. Continue till you pass over a stream, then start to climb towards the trees on your left. Almost immediately take trail to right, up the hill. Then it's up, up, up! The cairns are much nearer the top than we thought. It was also very windy near the top as it's very exposed. Glad I have done this, but don't know whether I'll ever do it again.
