Christmas camp on Cul Mor Assynt

My wife and I went for a camping trip on xmas eve to near the top of Cul Mor , north of Ullapool. Beautiful crisp cold conditions on the walk in changed overnight to cloud, wind and snow. It certainly was memorable !! :D

Loved your own site also, awesome stuff which has given me plenty of ideas.

And bloody cold I'd imagine... Nice pics of Cul Mor though - have that one to do yet - looks a nice peak. I doubt I'll be doing it in snow though as I don't usually get that far up Scotland in winter...

thanks folks. We are back to domestic life again now. Camping in winter can be a great memorable experience- and also can be pretty grim !!
Dooterbang- nice looking trip up Ben More. I recommend Utah for outdoors adventure with its canyons and warm sunshine- I can dream!
