First new Munro in soooo long, picked an easy one with Dad to break us back into it. Cracking walk with sun making the landscape lunar like with all the small lochs and flat lands resembling the dark side of the moon. Luckily all the snow has gone and we had spring like conditions. The dogs need to work on their fitness too. Legs were fine the following day so hopefully hit the ground running this year with such a poor 2018; onyl managed 1 Munro (Lochnagar Repeat) and 2 new Corbetts (Ben Vrackie & Auchnafree Hill).

Warning Please note that hillwalking when there is snow lying requires an ice-axe, crampons and the knowledge, experience and skill to use them correctly. Summer routes may not be viable or appropriate in winter. See winter information on our skills and safety pages for more information.
