Many thanks to Will and Val, who stopped to assist when my climbing partner Johhny fell ill today at the start of the Hart Fell Horseshoe.
He seems fine now, but will get checked out by the medics in the morning.
Your generosity with time and sympathy is much appreciated.

Warning Please note that hillwalking when there is snow lying requires an ice-axe, crampons and the knowledge, experience and skill to use them correctly. Summer routes may not be viable or appropriate in winter. See winter information on our skills and safety pages for more information.
