I too enjoyed this side of the Cuillin….we went totally inclusive by adding both the very fine wee top of Clach Glas and then onto Blaven. A grand day out in the hills. :) So much so that a second visit was also enjoyed.

One of my fav routes on Skye :D It definitely deserves a few WOWS!
We did it once in icy conditions, it was hairy, especially near the summit of Garbh-bheinn. But the views were worth the effort (including my wet pants)  The pinnacle of Clach Glas is something special, not that I will ever climb it...

A good day on Garbh-bheinn in 2015:

This is the kind of report that messes with my hill-climbing priorities, just when I thought I had them sorted

Wow, wow, wow! Absolutely. The views from these hills are just superb, and you certainly got the weather for it!

Somehow I seem to have missed the shots of you both on the summit of Clach Glas... :)

Don't have a summit shot just two images that I took on Clach Glas ….maybe will show some of the terrain.
1 8%20The%20way%20onto%20Clach%20Glas%20summit%20block.jpg
After a pull up onto a juggy ledge and then move right to swing round onto a fine easy slab that will get you to the summit

2 7%20%20Descent%20from%20The%20Imposter.jpg
The last part of the descent from the summit...followed by more scrambling then a wee diff chimney that gets you closer to Blaven
