The Movie incl. Sharp Edge:
It was a great week !

The first three days we enjoyed camping with Caravan in Kendal - Lake District, where we climbed Blencathra - the fine mountain near Keswick and it was great time there as even the 6 years old Cheyenne conquered the mountain by the famous and challenging Sharp Edge - descending way keeping her face still smiling

We came back home on friday, then me and Patrik prepared for a longer day adventure in the North of Scotland - Munros from Glen Affric, where we enjoyed blue sky again, sun, strong wind, rock and snow...26 km in the mountains, started from home just after midnight as it is 4 hours driving one way and needed to be back home the same evening because of his travelling back home on sunday.
Report from the Glen Affric adventure here:

Blencathra was on my To-Do list for Lake District as I'm mostly climbing the scottish mountains, but at least once a year trying to do some hills in Lake District or Snowdonia. We almost climbed Blencathra last year when camping in Windermere, but ended up with something else...
So finally, the time came and we headed to Scales near Keswick to enjoy the wonderful mountain. Parked at the White Horse Inn car park we started the Adventure. It was my 6 years daughter Cheyenne, 21 years old Patrik and me...the old man

As decided we did, met on the summit and then headed all of us to descend via Sharp Edge

All documented in the Video-Movie and also by some photos. It was a great day with a good weather, glad for the visibility and we enjoyed every moment there. Also the split on the way up had some positive points...we were able to see and recorded Patrik on the Sharp Edge from the distance - another angle of the view

The mountains in Lake District are beautiful, looking forward to do more of them again next time !
