The Movie:

What a week ! :D My 21 years old son Patrik visited us from Czech Republic and because even my 6 years old daughter Cheyenne had a school holiday I sorted my days off as well 8)
The first three days we enjoyed camping with Caravan in Kendal - Lake District, where we climbed Blencathra - the fine mountain near Keswick and it was great time there as even the 6 years old Cheyenne conquered the mountain by the famous and challenging Sharp Edge - descending way keeping her face still smiling

Report from Lake District - Blencathra - Sharp Edge here:

Video movie incl. Sharp Edge scrambling with Cheyenne here:

We all came back home on friday afternoon and me & Patrik started prepare some plans - options for saturday - one day trip as he needed fly back home on sunday. He is mostly climbing Ben Nevis with me when he is here ( he did 5x, I have climbed the Ben 21x meantime ), last year we enjoyed climbing/scrambling the Cuillins in Isle of Skye...and even now he wanted to try something different, something longer and more adventurous. The forecast looked great by visibility for most of Scotland, but very strong wind on the top...Well, he wanted an Adventure, preferably with some remaining snow so we decided for Glen Affric ( again ) and some Munros there. Because of the long distance from home ( 4 hours of driving one way ) we needed to start very early - in night...after short sleep @ 1 hour we woke up at 00:15 am, prepared some porridge, food, coffee and drinks and then headed to the North: Inverness - Loch Ness - Glen Affric.
Looking forward to spend another day in the mountains we arrived in the new car park just around sunrise after some stops for some shots and videos from the way...
Then the Adventure began. You can see all in the video-movie, some photos added in the bottom...

Thank you Jimmy :D Looking back now, there were some signs that something was goping wrong with me when I was struggling up since the first ascent that day  Clearly visible in the video, I was never going sooo slowly up hills before...and then I felt it in Carn Eighe  Apart of that I'm keeping a good memories from there :D
