Headed off at 9.30am and followed the route exactly as outlined. The weather had been mostly dry for nearly a week or so. Therefore the ground, although boggy in parts, was mostly manageable. Reached summit of An Caisteal at around 11.30 along with a goodly number of other folks also enjoying the day.

Headed down the path towards the Beinn a’ Chroin and then headed up the scramble towards the summit. This part was not obvious and I only knew where I was going because there were a couple of lads a few hundred yards ahead of me on the trail. Parts of the scramble were a little tricky, but manageable.

Stunning views from the top. Visited the two summits then headed back down the mountain towards the river below. Some beautiful rock pools and little waterfalls just before you cross the river Falloch and then follow it back down the valley with it on your right.

Back to the car by 3pm. Great day... Sore legs 😎
