Walkhighlands

We went for a walk in “The big wood” expecting a good forest walk. Considering the name of the walk, the woodland section is rather small. There is also a barrier up saying the path is closed but it looks like it’s been there for some time. We went round it and got to a farm, from then on the walk was on roads/track so we cut it short. Very disappointing

It was called “the big wood” in Newmilns but seems to have been removed from the walkhighlands website!
