Your young one Keira is a beautiful looking girl.

We have two lovely boy labs who are now 13 and 10 years old.

They certainly do become your best friends.

Regards.

Robert.

Thanks Robert. We get so attached to the oldies, as others on this site know... :-|

The ending is never easy and filled with mixed emotions. Heartbreak and happy memories. All these happy memories will keep shining through and you will treasure them forever.

Such a lovely report and photos of a gorgeous looking boy (and girls too)

Moira.

Graeme D wrote:This certainly strikes a chord with me, as I know it also will with many kindred spirits in this community. Like many others on here, myself being one of them, you are a true dog person. It is in your blood and that's why you have them in your life, knowing fine well that the dreaded day will come. But the memories live on. They always do and they always will. We are hopefully going to welcome a new dog (hopefully another Lab) into our family in the next few months and we know that with that will come that dreaded day sometime in the future. But that's what we do. Thank you for sharing and happy dreams to Jack.

I did think of your Lucy when I was writing this up and look forward to hearing about your new arrival....

Another chocolate? :D
