Whilst we enjoyed a rather unexpectedly nice day which was warm and windless, save for a pleasant and gentle breeze, tragedy unfolded on the nearby munro Na Gruagaichean in the Mamores. Around 5pm once down we heard a loud thunder clap. Turned out two women were struck by lightening and one died.
