I chose this walk to go to Lochan Na h-Earba for the view as it looked a fantastic spot. It didn't disappoint, started walking at 7:30am when there was no wind, sun, but clouds on the tops which I could see were lifting as I walked into the area from the car park. On the way in could feel the heat building up so off with a layer. Hot work trudging up the track to the reservoir and first photo opp. The clouds were still hanging onto the hills then.

On to the lochan itself. Almost perfect conditions and spent a bit of time with photos here and soaking up the view.

Took the path up the burn and when I approached the ford, there was a wee cairn and a faint path heading up to Creag Pitridh. This was the next photo opp, the lochan from above. The faint track was wet with water and dew so glad I had put on my winter boots. The path faded in and out as I climbed but eventually approached the ridge before the summit. I walked right round till I could see the lochans below me and took my photos.

Sun still out but more cloudy now, a little breeze chilling me out. Completed the walk to the summit. Great views all around, Geal Charn just across the bealach looked too close to ignore.

So after my lunch I walked over to it following a clear path that faded a bit on the climb up and over all the boulders to the top. Good view back to Creag Pitridh, which does look small from here.

Walked back down past the boulders and then circled round to the stalkers path to head for the main track back down at Bealach Leamhain. The path turns into a burn half way down. Went over for a look at Loch a' Bhealach Leamhain and then headed back down the track to the car park. I was knackered doing both munros and really didn't have the time or the energy to do the big one. It was a long trek back in the sunshine, a true summer's day, hot with little wind down here, which made the walk back to the car park an endurance test in the winter boots. So glad to get back. Great photos though, a few included here. Walked past a man pushing a woman in a wheel chair, take it they were making for the lochan, a big ask of the wheelchair, hope they made it, it is certainly worth the effort, might try and persuade my partner to visit it too.
