Previously I had done Braeriach on it's own and then I went for the other 3 up here from the Linn o dee. It was a wee bit windy that day - difficult to stand on Cairn Toul is a wee bit windy in my book :D so I respected the mountain and returned gracefully.

And so I set off from the sugar bowl car park at 0700 having changed boots due to better grip on my old boots!! And a quick change of bergan due to a zip busting 5 minutes before on a side pouch, on the one I normally use!!
Through the Gap, up to braeriach, onto Sgorr an Lochain Uaine, back over Braeriach, through the Gap again and back to car park.
Simples eh
Mist, rain, snow on top, hailstones, more snow , more rain!!
Across the stream and round and up.
And it cleared when I was on Angel's peak - Wayhey.- revealing all the beauty around.
Sone pics taken and head back across the stream.
Just one thing about this route and crossing at the minute. Theres a huge bit of snow covering it where it goes over the edge ( Falls of Dee) - and your doom should you try and cross the snow and mess up.
Theres a cairn about 100yards upstream with a few boulders in a line showing the best place to cross.
Bit more hailstones on the return but it had warmed up though and as The Who said "I can see for miles and miles"
Took it easy going back through the gap as the boulders were a tad wet by now.
And a sit down and a coffee and a smile
Cheers

1250 is a rough guesstimate of ascent
