Set off (relatively early from Roy Bridge campsite, having a gain used the pods for an overnight stay. As started ascending could feel early on that it was going to be a scorcher. Luckily we were on the summit of Carn Ghluasaid before thing got too toasty.
The ascent of Sgurr nan Conbhairean was enjoyable, with great views over toward Nevis, and some of the higher Knoydart hills. From the summit we then continued onto Sail Chaorainn, abandoning our packs at the bealach for an easier walk out.
The return journey felt like a beast in the hot weather, and although you don't quite re-ascend Sgurr nan Conbhairean, you are only 30m short of it. I finished my second camelbak, part way down and the ridge walk, though not hard, seemed to take forever. A great walk, but was glad to get back to the car.
