The Hare was out of action with a strained back. I decided to do a hill that he could easily do another time when I was unavailable. Parked at Stronachlachar and cycled to the track up the Glen Gyle at the head of the reservoir. Easy walking on the track to the foot of the hill, then hard going steeply up through bracken and crags. Nice view from halfway up looking down Loch Katrine.

Easier nearer the top and super views towards the Crianlarich hills.

Decided to stay up to get views for a bit longer and go down the atv track to the east described in the Graham book to avoid the bracken. So walked along the ridge towards the Graham top. Mostly easy walking with occasional steep sections. Decided didn't have time for the Graham top so walked down through the corrie, a long gentle section, before going more steeply through the fenced in area, picking up the track, and walking on it further and further from the bike. However it did get me nicely through the bracken. A chat with some Dutch holiday makers walking on the road took me back to my bike.
