After a windy Hogmanay with friends, the weather turned beautiful. It was too nice to go home. We drove to near Auchterteang and walked up the track past green lunch Hut, left fork to col, along watershed over several bumps and peaty low points (good job that they were frozen), then along atv track to rh track, back to fork, and out. Sunny, but haze or fog over sea and sun shining impeded view of Cairngorms.

Little wind though cold when stopped and later in the day. Views mainly of lower moors. Almost all easy walking.
