For the first prize of £60 to spend at Webtogs, we picked ‘A Day on Canna’, by Anne C. An appetite-whetting report of a wonderful long day on a little visited island. There might not have been any puffins, but the bonxies, flowers, scenery and cake will have made up for that, and made the night in the car worthwhile.

For the runners up prize of £30 to spend at Webtogs, we have decided on ‘West Highland WAYHEY!!’ by LailaQuiche. A great read, summing up the pain, the fun, the weather, the landscape, and the friendships that make this route so popular.

Thank you to everyone who submitted a walk report this month. Each one was a fun to read - always tough to judge but there can only be two winners…

Amazed at this given the quality (as always) of so many other walk reports last month but - thank you! Wonderful surprise.

I missed this first time round, and am glad you won the prize so I got to read it. If I did the WHW, I'm afraid I would use the bag carrying option, struggling into Sourlies bothy was quite enough for me.
