Walkhighlands

This was an amazingly varied walk. It was a cloudy day with little wind. From Sherrabeg, we went through the field, through an open wooded area, onto ridge, super views down to the Spey.
Higher up we found some iron fence fixings which looked very attractive, and picked a few loose pieces up - what will we do with them? Amazing views down to the Binniens and Loch Laggan. To the summit, now sunshafted views over to Loch Pattack and Ben Alder. We continued round the corrie and had lunch just before the woods. We crossed over/under a deer fence, then quite a way pathless through open woodland to the next little peak, where we picked up the path which led us steeply down and eventually up a track to reach Dun da lamh, a hill fort with many steep sides and a few remaining walls. Easy walking thereafter through forest and back along road as it was getting dark. Peaceful.
