We took this walk on a rather foggy day. This slowed down the approach and meant there was very little view. On the other hand, there was no wind and the abandoned gun emplacements were very eerie. The final part of the approach road was a track. We didn't want to risk the car in it and parked on what we hope was public road but in a safe way. Walking the track added a few minutes only. We took 56 minutes according to my phone app. We stopped for a few minutes on the rocks and would have stayed longer but for a lining appointment in the toon. We also met another car coming the other way when walking down. This could have been difficult had we driven.

It is a nice wee walk and you have both a wee bit of beach and some rocks and cliffs to explore along with the 2nd World War buildings.

We saw the seal too.

Will return for the view.
