Walkhighlands

Not the most rewarding of walks - long boggy ascent despite dry weather and scorching day. We did have a clear day and beautiful views from the top but the wet yomping across heather on the way up really spoilt it. Be careful to pick up the correct path after fording the stream .... walkhighlands says take the left path but there is a wide green path emerging to the left very soon after starting the ascent and this is a harder and boggier alternative to the real left hand path which is just a bit further up (we only discovered this on the way down again!)
