Playing catch-up again – so back to 2009.

This was meant to be a walk with some of my work colleagues I tackled Morven with. However I hadn’t paid too much attention when arranging things so I turned up at 9am and no one else did. Well they did at the agreed 10am but I’d given up on them after half an hour so set off on my own, having left a note on my windscreen. Well not totally on my own but with the family pet. Bowmore (for that is his name) was still less than a year old at this point so still fairly puppyish. Spent a lot of time shouting after him to keep him is view so not the most relaxing of walks. Probably just a well I wasn’t with my colleagues.

Conditions were pretty dull and windy. Caught some rain nearing the first top of the day (Scraulac) but it had just about stopped by the time I got to Cairnagour Hill. This had a modest cairn while that atop Mona Gowan was bigger that the hill really justified. Not a fabulous day but it was a decent stretch of my & the dogs legs.

Good to see a report of this hill :)
You can do a slightly longer circuit from the same place and include Morven as well - a nice route.

It was a nice day when I was up there, but a bit hazy so the photos were rubbish.

Since Ladylea hill is out your way, you may well find yourself on that before long. The walk could take a whole hour!
