Good day out with Mich,Lovely clear sunny day, lots of parking at Balsporran Cottages. Straightforward route up Geal Charn. Can see how you could get lost in cloud as the path comes an goes. Best on a clear day.Steady uphill plod for A'Mharconaich. Extensive views are lovely, Very quiet, we saw mountain hare, ravens, ptarmigan and snow bunting. Quite steep descent for a short while when you leave the summit but ok, need to keep to the left. As the terrain levels out bear left to get to the bridge over the burn back on the path, we left it too late and missed the bridge so had to cross the burn. It was very boggy in places and heavy going through heather. We took 5 hours but could easily have done it quicker.
