14.4 km walk in 250 ascent 6/9/2019
22.75 on the hills 1500 ascent 7/9/2019
14.4 km walk out 250 ascent 8/9/2019

Met Chris at 2pm at loch affric car park - paid 4 quid voluntary tkts, got suited and booted and headed off for the walk in to Altbeithe.
Over the bridge and onto the great track all the way to the bridge at strawberry cottage. From here it's a path/track all the way to the YH. Wet in places and a few fords to get over, but nothing difficult. Must be just round the next bend became a saying for the last couple of kms- and then it came into view- wayhey.
Doss bag out, bit of a shower, something to eat , chew the fat for a bit and bed - big day tomorrow- would the weather be as good as forecast.
YES IT WOULD.
Early rise, breakfast , kit prepacked and off up the path at 0830. One wee lady (70year old) had already set off. She was completing today.
On up to the bealach and find the 2 cairns hannah (who runs the hostel) had mentioned. For anyone going for the far one" first steer wide of the boggy section and aim for the low point on the ridge.
