decent weather in the morning. Saw Ptarmigans on the way to the summit. Summit windless (slightly midged) despite forecast for 25-40mph winds (plus gusts). rained heavily on descent, then sun, then a deluge! so much so that the poles were still leaving on the car as we drove off. They were gone by the next day when we returned to look for them & were not handed in.
