So set off through the soup to head for Ben Cruachan, last time I was here it was a summers day, 2007. I didn't have a camera with me so I decided today I would remedy that

Parked up at the Station, had a coffee then boots on, had another coffee and off. Through the 'underpass' minding my head as the writing on the beam suggested. Sloped off up the path on the left through the Birch woods and began climbing into the gloom, maybe it will change - we'll see

A wee look back

Further up the path over the style and a wee view of the sun shedding some light on the fog

Up towards the dam, up the zig-zag steps and the steep stairs and hang left towards the reservoir track. The fog was pretty thick here, but carried on regardless towards the first cairn denoting the path towards the burn and eventually the bealach.
Coming out the mist

Slightly further up

At the bealach

Zoomed

Climbed up towards summit knowing it was a special day, no more word required
