Amazing pics.............what camera do you have?

I'm hopefully heading to Oban at Easter and this will be a priority for me to achieve this munro.

I'd love to experience these views for myself (small chance but you never know!)

I'm constantly amazed by the quality of the photos posted on here. I know there is an element of luck involved in being in the right place at the right time but you need a decent camera and an eye for a good photo as well. The word 'awesome' tend to get over used but what else can you say about these shots? Some of them deserve to be on the Munro calendar. And that one of Ben Nevis - I want it for my desk top. This report deserves 'Report of the Month' for the pictures alone. Truly, truly awesome.

The conditions looked promising for an inversion up Ben Challum on 28/1/11 but no such luck. Your pictures are amazing so hope I'll experience one some day soon. Cruachan is a target for the summer, can't wait!!

Yes - quite nice!

Congrats on the Webtogs vouchers.

And thanks - I've got to decide on a destination for an Easter hillwalking trip, and this has helped put Oban / Cruachan pretty near the top of the contenders...
