Done with the Lochabar and Nevis group on their Isobel memorial walk. Erna also out. Had stayed up at Smokey Oak Lodge on the Friday and Saturday nights to do Niccy's walk the day before Beinn Teallach etc. Had to leave lodge by 7.30 so a fairly early start; arrived Glencoe Mountain Rescue car park soon after 8. Set off on our walk at 8.50 with Geraldine (Gerry). All the others were doing the whole ridge. They were all mountain goats. Toril, who organised it was really nice. The walk was very steep. Fantastic views from the summit. Nice sounds of deer calling (rutting season) and a few seen. Back down to Clachan Inn for refreshment then on my way home by 5.00.
