Walked solo. Was good weather for most of the day. Clear and crisp in the morning, and then cloudy but dry in the afternoon. Was hoping for a chance to be above the clouds at the summits of the second two, but unfortunately the cloud thickened and was in place at the top.

Walk was very boggy past the hut to the bottom of the ascent of Carn Liath. A new path is currently being built, and there were some freshly laid parts which meant that some of the bog could be avoided. Ascent was steep and quite long, but offered good views with the sun rising across the countryside. Views at the summit and along the ridge walk were really good, with the clouds rolling in over the summits of the munros in front.

Ascent to the second munro was less steep. Became cloudy as I got further up so didn't really see much. Went off on the wrong path when trying to continue, so hard to climb back up to the top of the grassy ridge. Then found the path leading to the ascent of the final munro again.

The final ascent was similar, but a fair bit longer. Got quite windy at the top, but the massive cairn provided good cover for my lunch stop.

The path after the descent that went around the previous two was very boggy, especially just after the river crossing. But eventually led to a well built path that continued for the remaining 4 miles to the end. The final part, although flat, is very drawn out and tiring.
