Nice stuff Mr W! That's the thing about hillwalking - you never know when you might bump into some unsavoury characters! I do miss nights in a tent with a wet, smelly dog! :(

Thanks Sir, glad I avoided six of the best there. I thought there was a prospect of further canine company on the Dewar household?

Great report and pics, thank you. I bagged them on a one day walk Tue 6th July 1999, 14 hours. Strangely for a remote Munro, Sheasgaich was my third most crowded summit, after Ben Nevis and Ben Lomond, with at least 10 people there from all directions, including some who had cycled slowly and precariously – I saw one spill - along the same route. I enjoyed dipping my feet in the loch on the way down.

An encouraging report, you always learn from how others do it :)
We finally plucked up the courage to do these this summer, but decided because of our “advanced age”, over 70, we needed bikes & the bothy :D
We made the right choice for us, but the loch did look a great campsite. A report will follow later.
