Having done Ben Vane 4 days earlier I thought I'd nip up Ben Vorlich today to complete the 4 Munros in this area.
Another beautiful day, perfect for a wee walk!
Parked at Inveruglas Visitor Centre then followed the same route as the approach for Ben Vane, along the road, through the padlocked gate then under the bridge on the tarmac road.
Took the left path here to cut a few minutes off the winding tarmac road.
It's a nice wee shortcut
About 30-40 minutes later this is the stream on the right, just before the path up.
Then a few metres further is the start of the path.
A little way up the hill and looking down at Loch Sloy Dam.
The first hint of snow.
The summit.
Camouflage Collies

...the first time I looked through my pics I missed them, thought they were rocks,
my eyes were drawn to Ben Lomond in the distance

Looking back at the trig point from the summit.
Ben Lomond and Loch lomond.
A Ptarmigan keeping a wee eye on me

Nearly down.
Sadly, not much left of this poor chap

Couldn't make that the last pic so here's a tree

Thoroughly enjoyable walk,
David
