11.3 miles, 1450m ascent, 7.1hrs. A glorious day and fantastic hike - trying the briefer approach this time
- Heading in. Fuar Tholl ahead.
- Fuar Tholl. Not a Munro. Just misses out.
- Over to Fuar Tholl, on the ascent.
- Across to Beinn Eighe. Both Munro's clearly seen.
- Pano along ridge, with the summit of BLM at the far end.
- Looking across to Sgorr Ruadh, the second top.
- Loch Coir Lair.
- Someone else further along the ridge, nearing the summit.
- Great view of Lochan Uaine, over to the Torridon hills.
- Loch Torridon. Think that may be Harris in distance?
- Pano to NW.
- Pano back along the ridge, round to Torridon one's.
- Taking in the views at the summit, Beinn Liath Mhor.
- Couple of folk on Beinn Liath Mhor.
- Across to Spidean Coir' an Laoigh. Another which just misses out on Munro status. MCD to left.
- Meall Cheann-dearg on way up Sgorr Ruadh.
- Across to Beinn Alligin.
- BLM from Sgorr Ruadh.
- Some of traverse route from BLM over to SR.
- Liathach.
- Sgorr Ruadh, pano, from BLM round to Fuar Tholl
- Beinn Liath Mhor looking mighty, mighty on descent from the second hill.
- Pano from SR, round BLM.
- Coire Lair, as I depart the scene.
- End of the line. Time to go home after three great days in Torridon. Maoile Lunndaidh, Spidean Coire nan Clach, Ruadh-Stac Mor, Beinn Liath Mhor and Sgorr Ruadh, all in the bag :)
