The secret seems to be well and truly out about Claigan Coral Beach! After a lovely lunch at The Schoolhouse in Dunvegan, we thought the beach would be a nice way to spent the late afternoon. The busy road towards Claigan should've aroused suspicion... but we first noticed something was up when the queue for a parking space began quite a long way from the car park! We were tempted to turn around and go elsewhere, but there was nowhere to turn so we had no choice but to wait. Then came the nail in the coffin - a full-size bin lorry came to try and empty the car park bins :shock:

Having finally reached the front of the queue, it was an easy walk to the beach - which wasn't actually that busy. A lone seal in the rocky bay halfway along. The walk there:

The tide was a little high for rockpooling, but I was quite pleased with this catch!

Yes, sadly it's very definitely on the tourist circuit. Nice pics, though!
