Today I returned to bag Ben Cleuch and was happy with our time of 3 hours 20 minutes, after retracing our steps up the land rover track through the silver glen and up over Ben Buck we followed the fence up and over to the summit of Ben Cleuch in low visibility .
We were blasted by a wind that would cut you in two but that was no hindrance as we were determined to bag it this time after failing once due to time limits and another time trying to cut out Ben Buck and coming off the path in thick fog only to get a bit lost and end up following the gorge of Ben Ever burn back to the land rover track which for a short while became a wee bit scary.
Thoroughly enjoyed our walk today.
