Kintail & Skye Day 3The sun had been a bit slow to come out earlier in the day, but by late afternoon Skye was blessed with cloudless skies, and it seemed too good to miss the opportunity to visit Neist Point towards sunset.
The road to the (recently expanded) car park was far too busy for the small number of passing places, but at least there was no issue getting a parking space at the end. We headed straight down the steps onto the dramatic headland:

The rocks on the west side of the lighthouse resemble a useful set of natural steps, and without too much difficulty you can get almost all the way down to sea level (the last few metres is a little tricker) for an unusual view of the lighthouse from below:

On the way back we climbed the little summit of An t-Aigeach for some of the very best views:

Wonderful way to end the day.
