Found myself with a free weekend. Had taken Friday off work and I really lucked out with the weather. Kinlochleven early (7am) and found myself following a trail of little red flags. They were for the Nevis Ultra. Met one runner who had a abandoned headed back. He was ok. View were great. First munro was simple but I headed to the 3rd munro rather than the 2nd and by the time I'd worked out my error I could be bothered bagging ti today. For another time and from Glen Nevis possibly. The 3 rd Munro was the finish line of the Mamores VK, so had plenty of company for lunch. Especially with annoying woman who kept coughing. Sounded like she'd choked on a fly. Weirdo!
Ended up with sweaty feet and a blister on the my big toes. Must avoid synthetic socks!
