This was a bit impulsive as the weather on Saturday Was forecast as dry early morning then deteriorating. Since the sun was shining at 7am we thought we would zip up west to do stac pollaidh. For once the car park wasn’t busy!
Off we went at a smart pace, which slowed a wee bit right at the top  I had forgotten my all important knee support too, so didn’t have that psychological crutch to help!
This really is a pretty short climb and we were at the top in no time. So, lots of pics of the little ridge and the east summit - we weren’t brave enough to go west!

Summit
we hung about for quite a while as the whole place is just so great, but it started getting busy and a few ominous drops of rain plopped down. So off we went, poor old knee grumbling at some of the rocky staircase steps😭 Met crowds of people heading up, it’s a popular place and no wonder! Back to the car in about 2 hours, just as the rain set in.
