We followed the walkhighlands recommended horseshoe from Innerleithen round to Walkerburn. A great walk, mostly easy underfoot with tracks or paths. The low cloud hung over the valleys, as we walked up the ridge and over various tops.

Cloud in the valleys
The eventual Graham summit was a trig point and lots of grass. We couldn't see much in the way of views because of thin cloud. We retreated to the cairn near point 657, which was the only dry place for lunch.

After that, the clouds lifted with good views of distant Edinburgh and Eildon hills.

Towards Eildon hills
Although our final top, Cairn Hill, was only 499m, and we were at about 600m, it looked dauntingly higher from afar!

Cairn Hill is the forested distant hill
The descent from there was initially steep and muddy, but then got better.

From Walkerburn it was a straightforward walk back to Innerleithen beside the river along the new cycle path.
