I had just been up Lendrick Hill and felt that I hadnt had enough of a hill fix for the day. So I headed 5 minutes along the B934 and parked up at the Littlerigg car park to start my walk up Innerdouny Hill.

At the end of the car park you go through the gate and then follow the forestry road up

Until you reach a junction where you take the right hand road, There is a post here with direction arrows that are'nt very clear and to me look like they are telling you to go straight ahead instead of going right. Luckily my map kept me right here.

Keep following the road until there is a clearing on your right hand side. At the end of the clearing leave the road and follow the track that runs up the side of the forest, taking you up the hill

Keep following the line of the forest and then follow the fence up through the gap in the wall

The the top of the hill comes into view with its trig point

There were cracking views of to the north with snow capped peaks but unfortunately my phone camera was not able to capture their brilliance. Then the sleet started so it was time to head back down, then the sleet turned to rain and then the sun attempted to come out and made for a very pleasant saunter back to the car

Another nice wee walk and perfect if you have a few hours to spare.

Did this one on a boiling hot summers day - a bit different to your conditions.

Another wee hill with great views.
