A stunning clear sunny and frosty day with a beautiful sunrise on the way up. Frozen ground which was great for the bogs. Took my wellies for the river crossing, discovered one was leaking! Icy and a dusting of snow on the tops.
Spectacular views to An Teallach, Fisherfields, Beinn Dearg, Fannichs, Ben Wyvis, Assynt, Foinaven, Ben Klibreck and I think Ben Hope, fantastic visibility. A day to linger at the top for lunch, little wind and perfect mountain silence. Saw red deer. A sublime early winter walk with awesome views :D
