1030 - 1600, Marks x3 (Hamish), Mick, Jamie and I.
Mark Mitchells 50th birthday today, so team outing and overnight stay.
Forecast poor, wet with strong Westerly winds so choose hill with sheltered approach route.
Breakfast at Tarbet tearoom, and then park up at Inverglus visitor centre.
foot of hill where leave vehicle track festooned with builders bags - path repairs underway.
Few other hardy groups encountered today, couple breaks at cave and summit overhang.
Path zig zags up through and around crags, has turned into a cascading burn on the descent.
Damp, dreich day - all of us soaking, Hamish still got scrambling skills as a near 11yr old pooch.
reward of log fire in Cairndow Inn for Mark+Hamish, birthday boy and Jamie and I.
couple loch fyne beers prior to fantastic meal + wine all finished off with few drams and MoD in bar.
