Pathfinderpaul (husband) & myself set off the day before for a nice bike in and a stay in our tent by the bothy. A lovely ride in good weather with some lovely shots along the lochside.

Then onto Loch Pattack and the wobbly bridge

We soon got the tent up just opposite the Bothy.

and then went in to have a brew. Some young lads on bikes came along & stayed the night and a bit later a couple of ladies came in to have their supper.

An early morning pee by Pathfinder captured a brilliant sunrise :)

Lovely start to day, except I had a dodgy tummy :( but I was determined I was going to have a go. Fortunately it improved.
We went straight up from the back of the bothy and followed the accepted route.

Once we were up the steep sides it was a pleasant stroll to our first Munro.

Then onto our second Munro for the day as we wanted to make sure we could do the bike out, I'm not quite as strong as I used to be.

I looked with dread at the Lancet Edge in the distance where I might have had to come down, & I'm NOT a scrambler :(

Still a little snow as we approached the climb to the plateau.

Easy walk to the second summit :D

But could i face the Edge??? Well Pathfinder said we could avoid it if we went back down the way we had come up and then just go down the heather back to Loch an Sgoir.

I didn't mind the rough walking :)

We were tired by the time we got to the path, but then the bikes were waiting and we just had to pack up the tent and back for a fish and chip supper :D

Who cares if you didn't walk the Edge, it looks like you had a fabulous trip anyway.
